Book launch – Fiona Scott’s second book!!

£25.00

Join me as I celebrate the launch of my second book ‘Tales of a Backwater Journalist’. This book focuses on my years working in newspapers. These were some of my best years in the industry and I’m excited to share them with you!

November 11th – 6.30pm arrival
The View – Royal Wootton Bassett

I’m so grateful to the team at RWB Auctions for allowing us to use their beautiful gallery and meeting space – the View – for this event. I’ve worked with founder Jon for over five years and have supported the auction house to manage their PR since opening. It’s fitting that I’m able to hold my book launch in collaboration with a valued client.

Description

Join me for a night of celebration and fundraising for Ainslie’s Pavilion Project! We’re not just launching my book – we have a brilliant evening of entertainment ahead for you…

You’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and a free buffet will be provided. (Please do let us know if you have any dietary restrictions!)

Alastair Greener

The fabulous Alastair Greener will be our MC for the evening. Alastair Greener is a leading UK-based speaker and expert in communication skills, with a particular focus on generational dynamics within workforces and organisations. He is currently writing his first book on generational communication.

Helena Eden

For your entertainment we’ll also have Helena Eden performing an amazine song set. As a performer she is lively and spirited, bouncing with energy, and her effervescence on stage is matched only by her bubbliness off it.

However it is perhaps her voice that moves audiences the most. It is rich and powerful, deep and mellow, pure and soulful. Her material, be it cover or original, swings from hard hitting guitar driven rock, jazz and blues to intimate heartfelt ballads. She has a powerful tongue in cheek audience control and can communicate with people on every level.

I’ll also be joined by my book mentor Lis McDermott, my publishing partner Asha Clearwater Thornton of Turquoise Tiger and my cartoonist Morgan Gleave who will share their part in my journey and how they help others too.

Don’t forget to bring your cash or card with you as we’ll be doing a fun raffle for Ainslie’s Pavilion Project.

£5 from the ticket price will be going directly to the charity and you’ll have the opportunity to buy a book at a discounted rate. The rate applies only to the evening!

**Pricing includes VAT.

If you are a client you can attend for £15 +VAT. Please email for the discount code.
