May Blog 1: Why not join ‘The Press Pack’?

What was previously known as the PR Academy and had less offerings, I have decided to rebrand and up my offer under ‘The Press Pack’.

If you never heard of my PR Academy or haven’t heard me speaking about ‘The Press Pack’ (which would be very impressive because I love talking about it!), here is what it is all about!

The Press Pack is a private group for paying clients who want to invest in journalist opportunities on a monthly basis yet cannot at the moment afford a ‘done for you’ option. The key to this group is taking storytelling in business seriously and seeing it as part of a mixed strategy for sensible and practical PR gains. It rests within a Facebook and What’s App community.

The reason for creating this group because I passionately believe that a business owner has to DIY when it comes to visibility, in the early years and some will always chose to DIY and that’s okay. In this group I’ll be sharing opportunities on a regular basis and monthly live Zoom sessions where you can ask me tailored questions regarding your PR!

Additional benefits include two power hours per year (6 months apart if you sign up for a year). These power hours are worth £238.80 per hour, one with me and one with Lauren for accountability. We have also launched a WhatsApp group for chatting between The Press Pack which will allow business leaders to share their PR and pitch ideas.

You will gain access to journalist requests for national press (both business and lifestyle) aiming for at least five a month for the whole group. Any journalist requests shared within the group will have all the information I have been given; it is therefore up to you to go to the journalist with your pitch. Beware! You MUST meet the brief specifically and the deadline.

You will gain a free spot on Scott Media Speakers while you are a member to showcase yourself as a professional speaker. Please note that you must have high quality images and provide updates on what you are doing. If any paid bookings are secured through this, Scott Media takes a 10% cut (a 20% for paying non-clients). The speaker platform is still young but the new bio which will be written for you would cost you up to £500 plus VAT alone…so there’s value in that alone.

The price of The Press Pack is £99 +VAT per month or £990 +VAT to sign up for a year (this comes with two months free). You will also get at least a five per cent discount of any in person courses I offer during your membership to The Press Pack.
