WHAT MAKES MY NO BS SUMMIT SO SPECIAL?

Two months ago, I ran my very first No BS Media Summit on 5th and 6th of February, which was a great success.
I enjoyed it immensely, so much so that I’m running another on the 11th and 12th November next year, 2026!
The event took place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Swindon Five national journalists took part in the day, leading sessions, and following on from the day several of the attendees have had their stories taken up by the journalists, as you’ll hear in future blogs. The summit attendees also had the opportunity to learn from other business leaders, and on the second day interact with a Dragons’ Den type panel.
It’s all very well me saying I enjoyed it, but what about the delegates who attended? Well, here is some feedback from people who came along on the day:
Sam Munslow: Blue Monkey Coaching
Scott Media’s No BS Media Summit surpassed my expectations in every way.
I knew it was a worthwhile investment as I know how professional, well connected and creative Fiona is.
But I didn’t expect the quality of time with the journalists, the relaxed atmosphere of collaboration and support, or the huge list of actionable ideas that I have come away with. And that’s without mentioning the incredible speakers and the valuable insights from them too!
I’m delighted that she’s running this event again and have already secured my place.

Your planning and delivery were brilliant. I learnt so much about the hidden treasure in Professional Journalism. Now to decide what is the next phase for me!

At first, I was worried that I’d invested in an event that would leave me out of my depth but when day one started, I soon realised I wasn’t the only person in the room outside of their comfort zone – and sometimes that’s the best place to be!
The No BS Media Summit was a brilliant event and throughout both days I learnt an awful lot about myself. It was worth every penny, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

In February, I attended The No BS Media Summit organised by Scott Media. Unfortunately, I was only able to attend the first day, but that one day was an amazing experience.
Having the opportunity to listen to 5 National journalists talk about their work, the type of stories that they covered, how they liked to be contacted and what was important to them in the way they were contacted was invaluable information.
Also, having the chance to talk to in both a relaxed manner, over lunch, and when they were delivering information to each table of delegates was also an unmissable opportunity
Being in the room with journalists of that calibre was more than a lucky chance – we were all fortunate to be in that room with thanks to Fiona and her team for organising such an incredible event. I have already book on for the next one in 2026!
Andrew Wilkinson: Secure Safety Solutions
I recently attended the 2025 PR No BS summit. At the start of day 1, as I walked in, I could feel the buzz in the room. Before the day officially started, I had already networked with some leading journalists who I have kept in touch with since. Once the day began, we were encouraged to think about our own personal brand which, if I’m honest, didn’t come naturally as we often think about our business’ brand but not how our personal story has sculpted our journey.
After further discussion with the journalists, taking on board their advice on areas of focus, we had the opportunity to present our brand to them through a “Dragons’ Den” style panel and obtained some more valuable feedback.
If you’d like to attend next year, to attend the whole event the investment during the early bird period (which runs until a year before the actual event (is £725 +VAT. To attend one day the investment is £380 +VAT and you can choose from day one with the five journalists, or day two with two journalists and three speakers.
Based upon our experience of the first summit we have decided that a maximum of 35 delegates per day (plus our team) really works well. Everyone has the opportunity to be seen and heard.
Of those 35 spaces, 20 have already gone at time of writing and all 20 people have booked for the WHOLE event. Early bird pricing ends on November 10th, 2025, when prices will rise to £850+VAT for the whole event and £550+VAT for one day – if there are any spaces available.
If you would like to pay in instalments you can pay over a 6-month period but must pay an initial fee of £150+VAT to secure your space, however, in doing so you are committed to pay the whole amount. Due to costs incurred there is a no refund policy on this event.
